Splitter and Walsh share Gameday 2 MVP award

ImageCaja Laboral's leader, the Brazilian international center Tiago Splitter and Olimpija's ameriocan guard Matt Walsh shared Euroleague's Gameday 2 MVP award, each ranking 36 index points.

Splitter led his team, Caja Laboral to its first win of the season, over the powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv, 86-81. He scored 26 points, which is a career high in Euroleague, with 10/14 FG and 6/8 FT, grabbed 7 rebounds, dished 2 assists and stole the ball 2 times.

Unofrtunately for his team Walsh's great performance was not enough for Olimpija to celebrate its first win, suffering a home defeat against Maroussi. Walsh offered his team 32 points, making 7 out of 9 threepointers and pulling down 4 rebounds.
