Darussafaka Dogus head coach David Blatt WILL be getting an NBA championship ring thanks to Cleveland Cavaliers’ title win last season.
After nearly steering the Cavs to glory in his first season but missing out to the Golden State Warriors, Blatt began his second season strongly but was controversially replaced by Tyronn Lue with many stating that LeBron James had a hand in his dismissal despite going 30-11 last season.
With the head start, Lue guided the Cavs to the title with a 4-3 Finals victory over the Warriors.
Current coaches and players will receive their rings on October 25, the same night the team raises the city’s first championship banner in 52 years.
