Alba Berlin beat Maroussi with 75-70, but was unaible to cover to 9-point deficit of the first game that was held in Athens and so the Greek club advanced to the Group Stage of the Euroleague while Alba will continue in the Eurocup.
Alba did not manage to pull away in this game as Maroussi was constantly within range, showing character and finally getting the final ticket to this year's Euroleague.
Julius Jenkins scored 32 points for Alba, Immanuel McElroy added 13 and Adam Chubb another 10. Maroussi was led by Billy Keys, Marios Batis and Dimitris Mavroeidis who had 17, 15 and 13 respectively.
