Galatasaray has reportedly decided to part ways with head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco following a series of disappointing results in domestic and European competitions.

According to Eurohoops sources, the Turkish club has ended its cooperation with the Italian coach, with an official announcement expected shortly.

The decision comes after Galatasaray suffered a 93-88 home defeat against Bursaspor in the Turkish league, extending the team’s losing streak to three consecutive games.

Before that result, Galatasaray had suffered a 96-76 defeat against Cibona in the Basketball Champions League, losing by 20 points.

The team also fell 78-71 to Karsiyaka in overtime in domestic competition, adding to its recent struggles.

The three defeats across two competitions reportedly prompted Galatasaray’s management to make a coaching change as the club looks to improve its results.

Pozzecco, who previously coached in Italy and France and served as head coach of the Italian national team, is now expected to leave his position.
