Enes Kanter Freedom said he is not looking to hurt the WNBA financially with legal action, despite his ongoing dispute with the league.
“The WNBA is losing $50 million every year already. I don’t want to go out there and bring a lawsuit … All I want is for them to come up with an answer – What is a woman?” Freedom said.
The former NBA player has continued pressing the WNBA for clarification on its eligibility rules while arguing that his actions are intended to draw attention to the protection of women’s sports.
