Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv signed All-EuroCup Second Team forward Victor Rudd for the coming season, with an option for the 2017-18 campaign, club announced on Thursday morning.

Rudd (2.05 meters, 25 years old) steps into the role originally earmarked for Quincy Miller before the latter suffered an injury that will sideline him for the season.

Rudd arrives from Russian side Nizhny Novgorod, which he led to the EuroCup quarterfinals last season. He ranked fifth in the competition in scoring (15.8 ppg) and sixth in rebounding (6.7 rpg.). Russ also posted 15.2 points and 6.9 boards in the VTB United League. It was Rudd’s first season in Europe after starting his pre career with Delaware of the D-League, where he averaged 15.9 points and 6.8 rebounds in 19 games last season in the 2014-15 campaign. Before that, Rudd played college basketball for three seasons at the University of South Florida and one at Arizona State University.
