Kenny Gabriel heads to Lokomotiv Kuban

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar added athleticism to its 7DAYS EuroCup roster with the signing of highlights-reel forward Kenny Gabriel to a two-year contract.

Gabriel (2.03 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir of Turkey, where he spent the last two seasons, the first in the EuroCup and the last split between that competition and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. He averaged 9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 10 EuroLeague games and has almost exactly the same numbers in 26 career EuroCup games to date.

He won the 2014-15 Turkish League title with Karsiyaka, too. Prior to Karsiyaka, Gabriel made pro stops at Maccabi Ashdod of Israel, AEL Limassol of Cyprus, Taranaki of New Zealand and AGO Rethymno of Greece.

He also spent three years at Auburn University in the NCAA.
