Jordan Aboudou heads to AS Monaco

One of the shining lights in last season’s French league, Jordan Aboudou will be honing his skills in the Basketball Champions League as well, next season.

Aboudou has joined AS Monaco on a one-year deal after previously enjoying two seasons at fellow French side Gravelines Dunkerque. The 25-year-old was also part of Elan Chalon’s treble-winning squad of 2012.

AS Monaco will compete in the regular season of the inaugural Basketball Champions League. They are housed in Group A, where they will be playing against established clubs such as Banvit, Fraport Frankfurt Skyliners, Aris, CEZ Nymburk, Helios Suns and two teams will join from the qualification round, which will start on September 27.
