China coach Gong Luming has ten of the twelve remaining players that won last year’s FIBA Asia Championships in the final roster for next month’s Rio Olympics.
The only two players that did not feature in last October’s triumph in Changsha-Hunan but to have made the 12-man team are Sui Ran and Zou Yuchen.
Of those ten returnees, Yi Jianlian is also included.
China will look to bounce back from their disappointing London 2012 campaign, where they lost all five of their group stage games convincingly and despite their high FIBA ranking of 14, are expected to struggle again in Rio.
