Dominique Johnson the 11th scorer in EuroCup at 14.6 points per game and 4th in three pointers made last season has signed a two season contract with German EuroCup club Alba Berlin. Dominique Johnson averaged 13.5 points per game and was first in free throw percentage (90.1%) during the Turkish Basketball League regular season.

Johnson who hails from a small former NAIA university started making a name for himself when he won the Polish cup while at Slask Wroclaw in the 2013-14 season, his first professional season in Europe.

The very next season with Polish club Siarka he not only led the Polish league in scoring 23.0 points per game but also led the Polish league in three point percentage (51.3%) before leaving for Maccabi Rishon where he led the club in scoring again coming from the bench with 14.9 points per game and shooting (48.6%) from the three and helped lead Rishon to Israeli semifinals that year.

Johnson joins former EuroLeague Anadolu Efes head coach Ahmet Caki who also transferred to Alba Berlin this season. This will be Johnson’s second season playing in the EuroCup.
