Suriname native is member of Dutch national team, studied in the USA (St. Bonaventure), played in Spain (CBA), Turkey (Istanbul DSI), Italy (CUS Torino). It is new challenge for Charlon Kloof now. 191 cm tall guard will play in FYROM and preparing to the way between basketball stars.
The star of Charlon Kloof rises higher and higher. The Dutch guard started his professional career two years ago in Turkish 2nd league TBL2. He was one of the best players of whole league and key player of his team Istanbul DSI. He ended his first professional season with 20 points per game and the same result in validity.
EuroBasket 2015 was important for his next career. Dutch national team ended in the Group phase, but Kloof was the best player of his team and showed extra physical ability. Especially he confirmed he can compete with best players of Europe, when he finished with 16,2 points and 4,6 rebounds per game.
Next season Charlon started in the same team Istanbul DSI, but TBL2 wasn’t enough for him. 26 year old player tried to continue in Italy with CUS Torino, but it can not find his best performance there. Kloof has a new opportunity now. He moves to MZT Skopje to play three Leagues – domestic Macedonian league, Adriatic League and especially EuroCup.
So, Kloof will face in the next season teams like Bayern Munich, Zenit St. Petersburg, Unicaja Malaga or Partizan Beograd. So, new European star can be finally borned in Skopje during confrontation with the best European teams.
