Iowa State junior forward Milan Momcilovic plans to enter the 2026 NBA Draft as an Early Entry Candidate following the conclusion of his season, which ended in the Elite Eight with a loss to Tennessee.
“I probably, definitely, (will) test the draft,” Momcilovic told Cyclone Alert during the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City. “Just because I think I’ve had a good year and shot the ball very well that I can.”
Momcilovic put together a strong junior campaign, appearing in 37 games and averaging 16.9 points per contest.
The 6-foot-8 forward was highly efficient, shooting 50.6% from the field and an impressive 48.6% from three-point range on 7.6 attempts per game.
Despite declaring, Momcilovic emphasized that his decision isn’t final and that he’s open to returning for his senior season depending on the feedback he receives.
“I don’t know what feedback we’ll get,” Momcilovic said. “We’ll see if I stay in or come back. That’s still to be determined.”
