Slovenian champions Olimpija Ljubljana completed the signing of 27-year-old 1.97m tall American Matt Walsh. The player arrives from Belgium after spending two seasons with Spirou Charleroi.
It will a debut in Euroleague for Walsh who averaged 13.3 points per game last season in Eurocup. He has played some games in NBA playoffs too when he was a member of Miami Heat.
Jure Zdovc, head coach of Olimpija told to the club's website that Walsh was signed primarly as an offensive threat to the opponents' basket. According to the coach, the player is having his best years as a basketball player and is very ambitious.
