The Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat enter Tuesday’s game with several key players unavailable or limited due to injuries. The matchup tips off at 6:30 PM ET at the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL.
Brooklyn will likely have Nic Claxton (right thumb sprain) available, listed as probable. The Nets are without Egor Demin (left plantar fascia), Tyson Etienne, Chaney Johnson, E.J. Liddell, and Drake Powell, who are all either in the G League or on assignment.
Miami faces more notable absences. Nikola Jovic (low back) and Norman Powell (right groin) are out, while Davion Mitchell (left shoulder contusion) is questionable. Terry Rozier will not be with the team, and Vladislav Goldin, Keshad Johnson, and Trevor Keels are either in the G League or on assignment.
The Nets have struggled recently, losing their last two games, including a 111-148 blowout at Boston on February 27 and a 102-106 home loss to Cleveland on March 1. Brooklyn sits at 15-45, last in the Eastern Conference, and has an eight-game losing streak.
Miami has split its last two games, defeating Houston 115-105 on February 28 before falling 117-124 to Philadelphia on February 26. The Heat are 32-29, eighth in the East, and have won one of their last five.
This season, Miami won the first meeting at Brooklyn on December 18, 106-95.
