All-Star center Jalen Duren and reserve big man Isaiah Stewart will still be serving suspensions when the Detroit Pistons resume play on Thursday.

Duren has one remaining game to complete following his involvement in a recent altercation with the Hornets, while Stewart still has six games left to serve.

Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff told Marc J. Spears that the team is confident its depth will help maintain stability during their absence.

He praised the contributions of the bench unit, noting that role players have consistently stepped up when given opportunities throughout the season.

“Whenever they have been called upon, they have lived up to the moment and the team has supported them and helped them be successful,” Bickerstaff said of his reserves.

“That’s how we move forward. We hold the fort down until our guys get back. We will miss those guys while they are out but the strength of our team has been our depth and we will contribute to use that as a weapon.”
