The Westchester Knicks announced Monday, February 16, that they have acquired T. J. Warren via returning rights.

The move brings the 32-year-old forward back to the NBA G League, where he played during the 2024-25 season.

Warren appeared in 15 games for Westchester last year and averaged 25.1 points in 36.1 minutes per contest. He shot 51.8% from the field and 34.6% from three on 6.9 attempts per game.

He also contributed 6.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, posting a plus-9.7 differential.

The veteran wing owns a nine-year NBA résumé. He holds career averages of 14.3 points and 3.9 rebounds across 385 regular-season games.

Warren began his career with the Phoenix Suns in 2014 and later played for the Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

His most productive NBA stretch came during the 2019-20 season with Indiana. He averaged 19.8 points on 53.6% shooting and 40.3% from beyond the arc in 67 games.

In the 2020 playoffs, the former first-round pick averaged 20.0 points and 6.3 rebounds over four games. He logged 39.0 minutes per contest during that series.

Injuries limited his availability in subsequent seasons. He played four games in 2020-21 and has appeared in 40 combined NBA games since the start of the 2022-23 campaign.

Westchester is the affiliate of the Eastern Conference’s third-place New York Knicks (35-20).
