The Brooklyn Nets have waived shooting guard Cam Thomas, a move that allows him to enter unrestricted free agency.

Thomas is now free to sign with any team that has an available roster spot. He is represented by agent Jason Ranne.

The player returned to Brooklyn this season after accepting his one-year, $6 million qualifying offer, bringing an end to a lengthy restricted free-agency process.

In 24 appearances with the Nets this season, Thomas averaged 15.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while playing 24.2 minutes per game.
