The Indiana Pacers have completed a deal to acquire center Ivica Zubac from the Los Angeles Clippers.
Indiana entered the deadline intent on strengthening the center spot in preparation for Tyrese Haliburton’s return from a torn Achilles next season.
Zubac, who is represented by agent Jared Mucha, is under contract through the 2027-28 season after signing a three-year, $58.6 million extension in 2024.
He is widely viewed as one of the league’s best value starters at center and currently ranks 40th in RealGM’s Player Value Index.
This season, the big man is averaging 14.4 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while playing 30.9 minutes per game across 43 appearances.
Before finalizing the Zubac deal, the Pacers also held discussions with the Dallas Mavericks regarding a potential trade for Daniel Gafford.
