The Chicago Bulls travel to Indiana on Wednesday, January 28, looking to snap a one-game losing streak against the Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Chicago will be without Zach Collins (right 1st toe sprain), Noa Essengue (left shoulder surgery), and Tre Jones (left hamstring strain). G League two-way players Yuki Kawamura and Emanuel Miller also sit out.
The Bulls enter at 23-23 overall, holding an 8-13 record on the road and a 15-10 mark at home. The team has split its last two games, falling 118-129 to the Lakers on January 26 and defeating the Celtics 114-111 on January 24.
Indiana Pacers also face key absences. Tyrese Haliburton (right Achilles tear) and Obi Toppin (right foot stress fracture) are out, while Jarace Walker (right foot bruise) is questionable. G League two-way Tyreon Peter is doubtful, and Ethan Thompson is probable.
The Pacers enter with an 11-36 record, including a 3-20 road performance and an 8-16 mark at home. They are coming off a 116-132 loss to Atlanta and a 117-114 win over Oklahoma City.
The two teams have already met twice this season, with Indiana winning 103-101 on November 29 and 120-105 on December 5. Both matchups highlighted Chicago’s difficulty against the Pacers’ physical frontcourt.
Wednesday’s contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM ET tip-off.
