Nets vs Clippers injury report: Who will play on Sunday

The Brooklyn Nets visit the Intuit Dome to face the LA Clippers on Sunday, January 25, with tip-off scheduled for 9:00 PM ET. Brooklyn holds a 12-31 record, while the Clippers are 20-24, both teams navigating injury challenges this season.

Brooklyn has multiple absences. Cam Thomas (left ankle sprain), Haywood Highsmith (right knee surgery), Tyson Etienne (G League two-way), Chaney Johnson (G League two-way), and Nolan Traore (illness) are out, while Noah Clowney (back soreness) is listed as doubtful.

Michael Porter Jr. remains the team’s leading scorer at 25.4 points per game, supported by Nic Claxton and Egor Dёmin.

The Clippers also face significant injury concerns. Bradley Beal (left hip fracture), Derrick Jones Jr. (right knee sprain), Bogdan Bogdanović (left hamstring), and Chris Paul are out, while Kawhi Leonard (left knee contusion, illness) is questionable.

James Harden averages 25.8 points and 8.1 assists, with Ivica Zubac anchoring the frontcourt at 14.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.

Brooklyn averages 108.3 points, 40.1 rebounds, and 25.3 assists per game, shooting 44.4% from the field and 34.7% from three. The Clippers put up 119.7 points, 42.9 rebounds, and 24.4 assists per contest, converting 46.4% of shots overall and 34.4% from deep.

Recent form favors the Clippers, winners of their last two games, including a 112-104 victory over the Lakers. The Nets are in a four-game losing streak, falling 126-130 in double overtime to the Celtics and 66-120 at the Knicks. Brooklyn seeks to avoid extending the skid against a team they lost to 121-105 earlier this season.
