Tony Bradley’s 10-day contract with the Indiana Pacers expired after Saturday’s game, but his stay is expected to continue.
Head coach Rick Carlisle told reporters that Bradley will be signed to another 10-day deal, per Tony East of Circle City Spin.
Bradley opened the season with Indiana before being waived on January 5, just ahead of his salary becoming fully guaranteed, then re-signed three days later.
Since returning, the 28-year-old center has appeared in six games, logging meaningful minutes in a crowded frontcourt alongside Jay Huff, Isaiah Jackson and Micah Potter.
He scored 12 points with three rebounds in Saturday’s loss to Detroit and has logged at least 15 minutes in four of his six appearances.
Bradley had previously been limited by a fractured right thumb and lost ground after Potter’s strong debut in late December.
With Indiana off until Monday in Philadelphia, the team is expected to re-sign Bradley then.
His second 10-day contract would run through January 28, after which the Pacers would need to offer a standard deal to keep him for the remainder of the season.
