James, who starred for Laboral Kutxa last season and led them to the Euroleague Final Four in Berlin inked a one-year deal, which will give him the chance to try his luck with the NBA in the summer of 2017.

The guard is currently in Portland awaiting to join the Phoenix Suns NBA Summer League team. He has received interest from Olympiacos but the reports are that Panathinaikos’ offer was more attractive.
