James Anderson is on the verge of signing for Darussafaka Dogus, thus ending his NBA nightmare.
After a solid season with Zalgiris where Anderson averaged 14.5 points a game in the Euroleague, slashing to the hoop at will and possessing a strong jumper if the lane was blocked, he jumped to the NBA and signed for the Sacramento Kings.
But, while Anderson was a prominent starter and leading scorer in Kaunas, the Kings used Anderson sparingly as he only averaged 3.5 points with Sacramento and was not used for his true strengths.
However, Anderson, now 27, might be given a second chance to show off his talents with former Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt by his side.
It is understood that Anderson will agree to a two-year deal with the Istanbul side.
