The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, December 21, with key availability issues shaping the interconference matchup. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET at Target Center.

Milwaukee enters at 11-17 and riding a two-game losing streak after recent defeats against Toronto and Brooklyn. Minnesota stands 18-10 and returns home following a 112-107 win over Oklahoma City.

The Bucks’ injury report is headlined by the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is out with a right calf strain. His absence removes 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game from Milwaukee’s lineup.

Taurean Prince is also ruled out following neck surgery, while Alex Antetokounmpo remains unavailable due to his two-way G League assignment.

Kevin Porter Jr. has averaged 19.6 points and 7.6 assists in his nine starts and is likely to shoulder a larger playmaking role. Ryan Rollins has been a steady presence, contributing 17.0 points and 5.9 assists per game while starting most of the season.

Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis are expected to handle increased scoring responsibility in the frontcourt. Myles Turner remains a key two-way piece, providing floor spacing and rim protection while averaging 12.5 points and 1.5 blocks.

The Timberwolves’ injury report is lighter but still notable. Veteran point guard Mike Conley is listed as questionable with right Achilles tendinopathy after playing a reduced role throughout the season.

If Conley is limited or unavailable, Minnesota is expected to lean further on Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo to initiate offense. Edwards has been the focal point, averaging 28.5 points per game while shooting over 41 percent from three-point range.

Julius Randle continues to provide consistent production alongside Edwards, posting 22.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Rudy Gobert anchors the interior, averaging 10.6 rebounds while shooting over 73 percent from the field.

This will be the first meeting between the teams this season.
