According to sources in Lithuania, Zalgiris and Kambala are close a deal that will bring the international Latvian player to Kaunas.
According to the Lithuanian basketball website krepsinis.net the two sides are negotiating the terms of the contract that will bring Kaspars Kambala back to Euroleague after a long period of time.
Kambala was banned from playing basketball for almost two years due to a doping scandal and spent those two years in Las Vegas, USA fighting in professional boxing matches.
He returned to basketball courts some months ago when the Russian club Enisey Krasnoyarsk signed him.
