The Indiana Pacers will be without six players for Wednesday’s NBA Cup matchup at Scotiabank Arena, including Tyrese Haliburton (right Achilles tear) and Pascal Siakam’s primary support cast. Johnny Furphy (left ankle sprain), Quenton Jackson (right hamstring strain), Kam Jones (lower back stress reaction), Aaron Nesmith (left knee MCL sprain), and Obi Toppin (right foot stress fracture) are also sidelined.

Toronto enters the contest relatively healthy, with only RJ Barrett (right knee sprain) unavailable. The Raptors will rely on Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes to maintain their eight-game winning streak and continue their 13-5 start to the season.

Indiana has struggled offensively during its three-game skid, with Pascal Siakam averaging 24.8 points and 7.1 rebounds despite the team’s injuries. Bennedict Mathurin adds 24.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, while Andrew Nembhard contributes 19.0 points and 6.4 assists as the team’s primary playmaker.

The Raptors’ scoring balance is led by Ingram (21.6 PPG), Barnes (19.2 PPG, 5.1 APG), and Immanuel Quickley (15.5 PPG, 6.1 APG). Jakob Poeltl anchors the boards with 8.1 rebounds per game, while Brandon Ingram provides additional 5.8 rebounds on average.

Recent form heavily favors the Raptors, who beat the Cavaliers 110-99 on November 24 and defeated the Nets 119-109 the night before.

The Pacers have lost their last three, falling 117-122 to Detroit and 109-120 to Cleveland.

Wednesday’s NBA Cup game is the second meeting of the season between these teams, following Toronto’s 129-111 win over Indiana on November 15.
