Timberwolves vs. Kings: Injury report for Monday

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings face injury challenges ahead of their Monday night matchup at Golden 1 Center.

Minnesota’s Enrique Freeman is available after a facial injury, while Terrence Shannon Jr. remains questionable with a left fifth metatarsal bone bruise.

Sacramento will be without Domantas Sabonis (left knee partial meniscus tear), as well as two-way players Dylan Cardwell and Daeqwon Plowden, along with Isaiah Stevens, leaving the Kings shorthanded in the frontcourt. Sabonis leads the team in rebounds with 12.3 per game and averages 17.2 points.

Anthony Edwards remains the Timberwolves’ scoring leader at 26.5 points per game, with Julius Randle contributing 24.7 points and 7.3 rebounds. Rudy Gobert adds 10.1 rebounds per contest, while Randle also leads the team in assists at 5.8 per game.

Minnesota enters the matchup after a 113-114 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

The Kings are coming off a 128-123 victory over the Denver Nuggets and have won one of their last two games. Zach LaVine is Sacramento’s top scorer at 21.4 points per game, with DeMar DeRozan adding 17.9 points. Russell Westbrook averages 6.5 assists and 6.9 rebounds per outing.

Minnesota has swept the season series against Sacramento so far, winning 144-117 on November 9 and 124-110 on November 14.

Tip-off is set for 10:00 PM ET at Golden 1 Center.
