The Milwaukee Bucks will host the Detroit Pistons on Saturday without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is sidelined with a left adductor strain. Kevin Porter Jr. remains out following right knee meniscus surgery, while Alex Antetokounmpo is unavailable due to Two-Way G League assignment.
Milwaukee enters the matchup with an 8-8 record after back-to-back losses, falling 123-114 to the 76ers on November 20 and 118-106 to the Cavaliers on November 17.
Ryan Rollins leads the Bucks with 18.3 points per game, while Kyle Kuzma contributes 13.5 points and Myles Turner averages 12.4 points and 6.5 rebounds.
The Bucks’ injury absences put more responsibility on Rollins, Kuzma, and Turner to fill the scoring gap and maintain defensive stability against Detroit’s top performers. Cole Anthony and Gary Trent Jr. are expected to help facilitate offense in Giannis’ absence.
Detroit remains nearly fully healthy, with Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey listed as questionable, while several young players, including Isaac Jones and Wendell Moore Jr., are unavailable due to G League assignments. Harris’ right ankle sprain and Ivey’s return-to-competition reconditioning will be monitored before tipoff.
The Pistons have been dominant early this season, improving to 13-2 with consecutive wins over the Pacers and Hawks, highlighted by strong performances from Cade Cunningham, who leads the team with 27.3 points and 9.9 assists per game. Jalen Duren adds 20.6 points and 11.9 rebounds, while Tobias Harris contributes 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds when active.
Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM ET at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI. The matchup marks the first meeting between the Bucks and Pistons in the 2025-26 season.
