Warriors dominate short-handed Pacers without Curry

Jimmy Butler scored 21 points with nine rebounds and seven assists to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 114-83 rout of the Indiana Pacers on Sunday at Chase Center.

Golden State improved to 6-5 overall and 5-0 at home, while Indiana fell to 1-9, losing its fourth straight game. Stephen Curry missed his third consecutive game with a bad cold.

Quinten Post added 14 points and seven rebounds, and Al Horford contributed 12 points off the bench as the Warriors used a 13-0 spurt spanning the third and fourth quarters to pull away.

Indiana was hampered by injuries and rest, sitting Pascal Siakam and missing Aaron Nesmith, who injured his forearm in Saturday’s loss at Denver. Andrew Nembhard led the Pacers with 14 points and nine assists.

Brandin Podziemski scored 14 points with six rebounds for Golden State, while the Warriors shot 43.2% from the field and 27.3% from 3-point range, improving their home dominance against Indiana for the first time since 2019.

Indiana struggled from deep, making only 12 of 44 attempts from beyond the arc, including an 0-for-8 start. The Pacers briefly kept the game close early, but a 21-7 run by Golden State in the final quarter sealed the victory.

Trayce Jackson-Davis chipped in 12 points and four rebounds, and Jonathan Kuminga added five points for the Warriors, who displayed depth and resilience without their superstar guard.

Indiana continues its road trip at Utah on Tuesday, while Golden State travels to face Oklahoma City, beginning a six-game road swing.
