Kobe Bryant says no to Turner Sports offer

It is apparent that the Black Mamba is still out.

In a bid to lure Kobe Bryant into a gig with Turner Sports, adding the recently retired Los Angeles Lakers icon with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal. Bryant immediately turned the offer down.

Only a month removed from Bryant’s final game, and TNT have been rumoured that they approached the former Laker days after his final 60-point curtain call against Utah Jazz.

Kobe however turned it down but has revealed that he will be training O’Neal’s son in the off-season.

Via TMZ:

When it comes to the “Inside the NBA” job offer, Kobe Bryant just did something pretty uncommon for him — he passed.

The honchos at the show had reached out to Mamba, hoping he’d join Charles Barkley, Shaq and the rest of the gang either this season or next.

There’s still some good news for Shaq though — Bryant says he’s pumped about training Diesel’s son, Shareef O’Neal, over the summer.
