Jaylen Brown exited the Boston Celtics’ 110-108 preseason win over the Toronto Raptors after experiencing tightness in his hamstring.
He left the game in the first quarter and didn’t return, prompting concern from fans ahead of the regular season.
Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla addressed the situation afterward and downplayed the severity of the issue.
“I think he’ll be OK,” Mazzulla said. “Talked to him after (the game). He said he would be fine, but I didn’t get a full update.”
With the regular season approaching quickly, Boston will keep an eye on Brown’s status. The Celtics are scheduled to open their season next Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
