Gordan Giricek, who hardly saw any playing time last season due to injuries, was operated in the leg this weekend.
His leg has been troubling him for some time now so the Croatian guard had to undergo surgery to fix the problem. He will be able to train again in about three weeks.
Giricek still has a year left on his contract with Fenerbahce, and is very likely to be called in for negotiations regarding a reduced salary for next season as he was unable to help the team so far.
