In a press conference which took place in the city of Marbel, the General Manager of Khimki, Viktor Bychkov stated that the Spanish international players his team signed will help Russian basketball to make it to the next level.
The press conference was help in the 'Inkosol' hotel and the new signings of Khimki were presented. Khimki's GM presented the two Spanish international players and handed them their new jerseys, #6 for Carlos Cabezas and #18 for Raul Lopez.
The two signings generated huge interested and the conference room was packed. The two players were presented and welcomed by the club's GM Viktor Bychkov, the coach Sergio Scariolo and the club's Foreign Affairs Director Elena Alexandrovna Nazarova.Viktor Bychkov:
"I am glad that such experienced and talented players joined the club. Finding replacements for the players that left last season was our top priorities and I believe that these two players will help Khimki and the Russian Basketball in general to make it to the next level."
