Euroleague CEO Jordi Bertomeu has revealed that the host of the 2017 Final Four will be unveiled in June with Istanbul rumoured to be the nominated city.

There is reported discussions between which venue in Istanbul to use next year with both the Sinan Erdem Dome and Ulker Sports Arena in the frame to house the event, however Bertomeu has stated that there are other countries interested in hosting next year’s showpiece event and talks are ongoing.

Among the cities Euroleague Basketball have highlighted are Belgrade, Paris, Kaunas, Prague and if completed on time, the VTB Arena in Moscow.

Bertomeu also said that the Final Four venues for the next two years might be added as well.

“Until June we will announce the city that will host the next Final Four,” Bertomeu said. “And probably also the next two.”
