The Chicago Bulls have officially signed guard RJ Nembhard to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to HoopsHype. The move adds depth to the Bulls’ backcourt ahead of the 2025–26 NBA season.

Nembhard, 26, has experience in the NBA, G League, and overseas. He appeared in 14 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2021–22, averaging 1.1 points and 0.9 assists per game.

In the G League, Nembhard has been more productive. Last season with the Capital City Go-Go, he averaged 17.2 points, 6.9 assists, and 5.8 rebounds over 17 games, shooting 54.5% from the field and 38.3% from three-point range.

He has also played internationally, including stints with Reggio Emilia (Itay), Fos Provence Basket (France), Filou Oostende (Belgium), and Zhejiang Golden Bulls (China).

Chicago’s current roster includes guards Ayo Dosunmu, Josh Giddey, and Kevin Huerter, providing competition for minutes in the backcourt.

Exhibit 10 contracts allow players to earn bonuses if they join the team’s G League affiliate, providing flexibility for both the franchise and the player. This type of deal is common for young players with potential to develop.
