NBA Draftee Alessandro Gentile and Croatian international Krunoslav Simon have both expressed their desire to remain with Euroleague side EA7 Milano.

It comes as welcome news for the Italian side, who currently top the LegaBasket standings, one game ahead of second placed Reggio Emilia.

Gentile currently has two years remaining on his contract with Milano, the Houston Rockets own the NBA rights to the 23-year-old.

“Playing in NBA next season? No, not for the moment,” Gentile said to Italian outlet Ansa. “I still have two years of contract with Milano, it’s too early to think about the NBA.”

The same can be said for veteran Simon, where Milano currently has a team option to keep him next season.

“Milano has a team option for keeping me next season,” Simon said. “I like the city and the team, so why I should leave? This has been the most satisfying year of my career.”
