Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers drew massive viewership, averaging 16.35 million viewers on ABC – the most for an NBA game since 2019.

The decisive matchup not only captivated fans across the country but also helped make the entire seven-game Finals series the most-watched television event since early May, with an average of 10.27 million viewers per game.

The broadcast reached its highest audience between 9:45 and 10:00 PM ET, peaking at over 19.28 million viewers.

Overall, ESPN and ABC saw significant gains in their playoff coverage, averaging 6.12 million viewers across 36 games – a 10% rise compared to the 2024 postseason.
