Panathinaikos officially announced the signing of guard Vassilis Toliopoulos on a three-year contract. The Greek player arrives from Aris Thessaloniki.
Toliopoulos, 29, appeared in 15 EuroCup games this season, starting six. He averaged 13.7 points, 2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 44% from the field.
His 30.1% three-point shooting and 84.8% free throw accuracy highlight his scoring ability from distance and the charity stripe. Toliopoulos also averaged 24 minutes per contest in the 2024-25 EuroCup.
Panathinaikos finished the 2024-25 EuroLeague regular season in third place with a 22-12 record. The defending champions reached the Final Four but placed fourth after losses to Fenerbahce and Olympiacos.
The team aims to bolster its backcourt depth with Toliopoulos, adding a player familiar with Greek basketball and European competition.
