The Toronto Raptors are reportedly exploring a major trade package centered around Kevin Durant that could include RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, Jakob Poeltl, and the No. 9 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

According to Grant Afseth of Responsible Gaming, league sources say Toronto has examined several trade frameworks involving any combination of those players and assets.

While no agreement appears close, the Raptors are internally open to parting with at least one of Barrett or Quickley in a broader deal for the 15-time All-Star.

Poeltl’s inclusion may depend on salary mechanics, but the front office has shown a willingness to reshape the roster.

Durant, who averaged 26.6 points across 75 games last season, is expected to be traded by Phoenix ahead of the June 25 draft.

Despite not being on the 36-year-old forward’s list of preferred destinations, Toronto remains in the mix.

The Raptors have sustained interest in acquiring either Durant or Giannis Antetokounmpo and could re-engage in trade talks this offseason.

Toronto’s pursuit mirrors its 2018 approach, when it acquired Kawhi Leonard and won a championship in a one-year window.

The Raptors finished 11th in the Eastern Conference this past season with a 30–52 record but hold multiple young contributors and draft picks to negotiate from a position of flexibility.

Toronto is also considering trading down from the No. 9 slot if a deal for Durant doesn’t materialize.

Phoenix, meanwhile, is seeking a return that includes both draft capital and rotation players, as the franchise prepares for a significant offseason overhaul.

Other teams reportedly pursuing Durant include the Miami Heat, though Toronto is among the few franchises willing to absorb his full $54.7 million salary for 2025-26.
