Justin Anderson is set to continue his international basketball journey, with FC Barcelona confirming the veteran wing will not return for the 2025-26 season. The club announced his departure on Tuesday, thanking him for his service and wishing him success moving forward.

Anderson’s contract with Barcelona officially ends on June 30. He played 75 games in all competitions for the Spanish club, including 33 appearances in Liga Endesa and 37 in the EuroLeague.

The former NBA swingman joined Barcelona last summer after previously suiting up for Breogán and Valencia during his first year in Spain. This past season, he averaged 6.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in EuroLeague play, contributing steady minutes off the bench.

Multiple reports indicate that Anderson is now headed to Dubai BC, with the Emirati club preparing to offer him a substantial contract.

Dubai BC has been aggressively targeting players with NBA and EuroLeague experience to enhance their competitiveness ahead of their EuroLeague debut.

The 31-year-old brings a wealth of experience, having appeared in 242 NBA games from 2015 to 2022 with teams including the Mavericks, 76ers, Hawks, Nets, and Pacers. Since moving to Europe, he has gained further recognition for his defensive versatility and ability to impact games without needing high usage.
