Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams praised Aaron Wiggins’ play off the bench after Sunday’s 123-107 NBA Finals Game 2 home win vs. the Indiana Pacers (18 points/4 rebounds/1 assist/1 steal/6-11 FG/5-8 3-PT/1-2 FT/+24 +/-).

Berry Tramel: “I’m sure you got a thousand things to worry about getting ready for a Game 2. Minutes is not one of them — you know you’re going to play a big chunk of a game. Aaron Wiggins: not that way. Doesn’t know if he’s gon’ play. Doesn’t know how much. He gets thrown out there and has a game like he has. How much do you respect a guy that can come out and just cold call play like that?”
Williams: “It’s the hardest job in the league, I feel like. I think it goes underrated — that’s a really good question. That goes really underrated. It’s really hard to stay engaged and stay ready, and for him to be able to do that on the biggest stage that he’s ever played on and have a really good game — he’s a very special player. So, always keep that in mind. And yeah, it’s a really tough job and he does it very well.”
