American guard Stephen Holt has signed for Liga Endesa surprise package Andorra for the remainder of the season.
Holt joins Andorra from Australian NBL side Melbourne United, where he averaged 15.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 30 games, while shooting 38 percent from three-point land.
The Portland, Oregon native helped Melbourne United reach the NBL Playoff semi-finals before they were swept 2-0 by the New Zealand Breakers.
No doubt though that Holt’s shooting touch and excellent court vision will help Andorra, who are challenging for a spot in the Liga Endesa Playoffs in just their second season in Spain’s top flight.
Andorra currently sit in ninth spot overall, one game off the post-season.
