The NBA has increasingly prioritized expanding its presence in Europe by hosting regular season games on the continent. Over the past three years, the league has staged games in Paris, France, marking a clear effort to engage European fans and grow the sport internationally.

Last season, two of those games featured Victor Wembanyama playing in his home country, with the San Antonio Spurs facing off against the Indiana Pacers.

Looking ahead, both Berlin, Germany, and London, England, are now considered top contenders to host NBA games in the 2025-26 season. These cities have been widely discussed as potential venues for future international matchups, continuing the NBA’s initiative to bring its games closer to European audiences.

In addition to hosting games, Berlin and London have also been mentioned as possible locations for an NBA Europe franchise, a major step in the league’s long-term vision to establish a permanent presence in Europe.

The NBA is actively exploring the potential for launching a dedicated European league, aiming to expand its global footprint and further grow the sport across the continent in the coming years.
