Miami Heat sophomore Jaime Jaquez Jr. says that the group is searching for a new kind of fighter’s mentality to end the regular season (blowout road losses vs. the Memphis Grizzlies and New York Knicks in last two games/currently on an 8-game losing streak).

Ira Winderman: “It’s just been a couple years for you being here, but to see a team that talks about never letting go of the rope to always keep competing… These last two games, how deflating is it to see just these runaways?”
Jaquez: “It’s frustrating. We’re going through the dark, dark days right now. I think as a team, we just gotta come together and find a new fight these last however many games we’ve got left and that’s something that we’ve been talking about. I think overall, just come together and find something to rally around.”
