The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Lamar Stevens for the rest of the 2024-25 season after two 10-day contracts, NBA insider Michael Scotto reported.
Stevens initially joined Memphis on February 21, securing a second 10-day deal before the team decided to keep him for the remainder of the season. The 27-year-old forward has played six games for the Grizzlies, averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds.
Before signing with Memphis, Stevens spent time in the G League with the Motor City Cruise after being waived by the Detroit Pistons in October. Last season, he played 19 games for the Grizzlies, averaging 11.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in 23 minutes per game.
Memphis holds a 42-24 record, tying the Denver Nuggets for second place in the Western Conference. With Stevens back on a standard contract, the Grizzlies strengthen their depth for a playoff push.
