Gianluca Basile will continue for one more year with the Blaugrana as it was announced in the official website of the club. It will be the fifth year of the Italian shooting guard in Barcelona.
Basile had signed a contract last summer for one season and an option of both sides to renew for another one, and so it happened. The player had made the game winning 3pointer in game 1 of the finals a couple of weeks ago against Tau Vitoria, effectivelly grabing home advantage for Barcelona which later they took advantage of and won the ACB title.
Barcelona also announced the release of Andre Barrett and thanked the player for the season he spent in the club.
