Optimism surrounds Jalen Brunson’s possible ankle sprain

There is hope that Jalen Brunson’s injury is limited to just a sprained ankle following the New York Knicks’ 113-109 overtime defeat against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to sources who spoke with Chris Haynes.

Brunson sustained the injury during the extra period when he accidentally landed on Austin Reaves’ foot.

At the moment of his injury, Brunson had been delivering an impressive performance, recording 39 points along with 10 assists.
