Vujosevic gets the “Alexander Gomelsky” Award

ImageDusko Vujosevic, Head Coach of Partizan, was named best coach of the Euroleague 2009, for his work in the club. He reached the quarterfinals two season in a row and has promoted a whole new generation of excellent players as the Sport Journal magazine reports.

Usually the award goes to the winner of the Euroleague, Pini Gershon (2005), Ettore Messina (2006, 2008) and Zeljko Obradovic (2007) being his predecessors, but his acomplishments on such a low budget could not be overlooked.

Vujosevic has promoted such players as Nikola Pekovic, Novica Velickovic, Milenko Tepic and Uros Tripkovic most likely with more to follow.
