The Toronto Raptors overwhelmed the Phoenix Suns with a dominant shooting display, sinking 20 three-pointers in a 127-109 win on Sunday night.
Immanuel Quickley, Chris Boucher, and RJ Barrett each scored 23 points to lead Toronto, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Quickley shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, while the Raptors collectively went 20-for-35 from deep.
Boucher contributed 10 rebounds off the bench, and Scottie Barnes added 20 points as Toronto capitalized on Phoenix’s defensive struggles. The Raptors shot a perfect 8-for-8 from three-point range in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Devin Booker led all scorers with 31 points for the Suns, while Bradley Beal added 30 on an efficient 12-for-15 shooting night. Kevin Durant struggled, finishing with 15 points on 5-for-15 from the field, including 0-for-5 from three-point range.
Phoenix fell behind by 19 points in the first half but rallied late, cutting the deficit to two points with just over five minutes remaining. Grayson Allen’s three-pointer trimmed the Raptors’ lead to 105-103 before Toronto responded with back-to-back threes from Boucher and Quickley.
The Suns struggled from deep, making just 7-of-28 three-point attempts, tying their season low. They missed their first five attempts from long range and shot just 2-for-13 from beyond the arc in the first half.
Toronto dominated in bench production, outscoring Phoenix 42-18 in that category. Boucher’s performance off the bench was instrumental in keeping the Raptors ahead during critical moments.
The victory marked just the second win in eight games for Toronto, which remains 13th in the Eastern Conference at 18-39. Meanwhile, Phoenix (27-30) has now lost five of its last six games and sits 11th in the Western Conference, fighting to stay in the Play-In Tournament race.
