The Philadelphia 76ers have added a new face to their roster, signing Chuma Okeke to a 10-day contract, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.

Okeke, who has been playing for the NBA G League’s Westchester Knicks this season, has been making a strong case for an NBA return. In 36.7 minutes per game with the Knicks, he averaged 16.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.

The 76ers, currently sitting at 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 20-30 record, are looking to bolster their roster as they navigate a challenging season.

Okeke, 26, spent the previous season with the Orlando Magic, where he averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game. Despite limited NBA action, his performance in the G League has earned him another shot at the big league.
